Welcome to the wonderful world of singing! You will find music learning and singing to be a positive experience at the Jorgenson Music Studio. Private lessons are designed to fit each and every student regardless of experience level and to encourage the unique gift of singing within everyone! Whether you have been singing for years and just want to fine tune, or you are preparing for your very first choir audition, the Jorgenson Music Studio is here to help!
The private voice lesson is 30 minutes in length and is taught once a week. It will cover topics such as proper warm-ups, posture, breathing techniques, relaxed jaw and tongue position, and health. While in your lesson, we will also discuss the International Phonetic Alphabet, singers' diction, music theory, and stage presence. Musical literature will be selected individually and can range from Contemporary Christian to operatic arias or basic children's songs to popular Broadway musical cuts!
